Distilled at The Lakes Distillery in Cumbria, this release is part of the Whiskymaker's Editions series which showcases the distilleries whisky maker's sense of adventure in terms of cask selection, maturation and blending. This special edition was bottled as a distillery exclusive in the UK, but was also made available to select international markets. It was put down to mature in oak for an undisclosed length of time before being bottled as part of a limited release, at a strength of 46.6% abv.
