Released in October 2018 this bottle has caused quite a stir in the whisky community. The Easter Elchies House stands in the heart of The Macallan Estate, one of the six pillars it is a unique Scottish-style home that was built in 1700 from locally quarried sandstone with crow-stepped gables and a turret and appears on every bottle of The Macallan.
Inspired by the dusk of an autumn evening, darkness falling, and firelight glowing through the windows. The Easter Elchies black reflects the welcoming warmth and luxurious experience to be found in both the home and the spirit today. Hints of dry peat smoke, dried fruits, and spices are to be found in this dark and dusky fine single malt.
