A 1974 vintage demerara rum from the Port Morant double wooden pot still in Guyana. The Port Morant distillery closed in the 1950s, so this would have been produced at Uitvlugt, where the still was moved to (via Albion). Well travelled, the Port Morant still now operates at Diamond since the Uitvlugt closure in 2000.
Matured in sherry wood and bottled in 2004 for Moon Import and the Italian market by Brae Dean Int, Edinburgh.
The label is an homage to the Pepi Mongiardino-designed Half Moon series, the company's first ever releases.
