Balvenie - 19 Years Old - The Week of Peat - Story No.2

Titled 'The Week of Peat', this peated whisky is the second part of a three-bottle 2019 release from Balvenie distillery, entitled The Stories. Since 2002, one week of the year is set aside at Balvenie to use peat in their malting kiln, and the whisky produced from it is set aside for an annual limited release. 

Other expressions in The Stories series include 'The Sweet Toast of American Oak' and 'A Day of Dark Barley.'

Released in 2022 as a travel exclusive, this is the 19 year old version as opposed to the younger The Week of Peat commercial releases.
