Balvenie - 10 Years Old - Founder's Reserve - Cognac Bottle 1990's + Miniature

Released in the early 1980's, Founder's Reserve was originally presented in the memorable Cognac style bottle then was later presented in the livery we all recignise today. Matured in ex-Bourbon and Sherry Casks then married for some time before bottling, a precursor to the 12 year old Doublewood that pioneered the art of Cask finishing. Although a highly popular expression, was finally discontinued in 2009.
